2020 Privacy Policy

20-20 Technologies Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “2020”) is committed to demonstrating the highest level of integrity in dealing with its customers. By using our website, services, purchasing or requesting information on our products and services or by providing us personal information, you agree to the policies, practices and terms herein contained. We routinely update our policy without notice and therefore invite you to consult it again from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes. All updated versions of the 2020 privacy policy will be posted on this site.
Please read this policy carefully and make sure you understand it. This policy describes how we treat certain information about you, your computer or mobile device (“Device”). This information may include something called personally identifiable information (“PII”). Some examples of PII are your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information. We will use information provided to us by Google Analytics (see section below regarding Google Analytics for more information). For example, some of the information we use about your Device includes its identification number, IP address, location, contents, language settings and IMEI code. We may also use the Device brand, model, battery level, hardware model, operating system version, telephone number, SIM number, network provider and memory status. Finally, we may use some geographical information based on the GPS/Wi-Fi network position.
We will also explain how we use Cookies (as described in more detail and defined below) and analytics tools on our website and in our products and services. We comply with relevant privacy laws and this privacy policy. We only share data with others as described in this policy.
2020 understands your desire to protect personal information and intends to inform you on how your personal information will be gathered, tracked or used, as well as the alternatives which are offered to you in this respect. Note that should alternatives not be offered to you on web pages where your personal information is requested and obtained, you may provide us your communication preferences through one of the communication channels detailed at the bottom of this statement.

In order to activate and/or use some of our products or services, you will need to create a 2020 cloud account (“Account”). During the process of setting up your Account, we will ask you for certain PII such as your email address. We need this information to allow you to activate, manage or use your 2020 products and services. We may associate your email address and other PII (such as name, telephone number and address) with your Account.

2020 collects personal information which it deems to be reasonably necessary to serve a legitimate business purpose. We request personal information when you place an order, create an Account, register a product, request a service, answer a survey, enter a contest, correspond with us or engage in certain other activities on our website. If you request technical support online, you will be asked to provide the information necessary to complete the transaction. At any time, you will have the option to decide not to proceed with the transaction requiring your personal information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, however, you may not be able to complete your request or transaction.

We use personally identifiable information in the following cases:
4.1. To enable you to create an Account;
4.2. To enable you to access 2020 forums;
4.3. To fulfill your request or transaction;
4.4. To allow you to purchase and download products, obtain access to services or otherwise engage in activities you select;
4.5. To provide you with information about new products or services, product upgrades, newsletters, informative emails and research on future product ideas or improvements;
4.6. To provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you;
4.7. To help you to quickly find software, services or product information important to you;
4.8. To assist us in creating content that is relevant to you; and
4.9. To assist us in creating better products and services to meet your needs.

2020 does not forward or sell PII to third parties. If we work with advertising and publishing partners, we will only share non-PII and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
However, we may engage other companies or consultants to provide certain services to 2020. For example, we work with Cleverbridge AG (Brabanter Str. 2-4, 50674 Cologne, Germany) to provide you with a convenient way to order, pay for and receive our products online. In such situations, either 2020 will share the necessary PII if we have an appropriate agreement in place with such partner or, in certain occasions, the partner will interact directly with you (though their own web terms and conditions and privacy policy) to collect the necessary PII to complete their services on our behalf. If need be, 2020 will only transfer the minimum amount of PII needed in order to perform the required services. Such companies must adhere strictly to data protection legislation. They must also treat your PII confidentially and use it only for providing us the services. They must not use your PII for their own business purposes.
As we are a global corporation, we may store and process your personal information on a server outside the country where you live. Also, the personal information that you have provided us may be transferred to other 2020 offices around the world since we have different business units working from different 2020 offices. For example, when European customers register their 2020 products, their personal information may be transferred to servers in Canada then transferred back to servers in one or more of 2020’s offices around the globe. Also, in certain countries our Independent Industry Consultants or third party contractors might undertake the collection, transferring, storage and processing of your information in which case such contractors and consultants will be bound by contractual provisions to protect PII, as applicable.
Finally, 2020 may disclose your PII if we are required by law to provide it to governmental agencies, courts or other authorities.

If you do not wish to continue receiving our e-mail newsletters or bulletins, you can opt-out of receiving these communications by replying “unsubscribe” in the subject line in the email or by changing your preferences within your Account.

We have put in place lawful and industry-standard safeguards to protect your PII. For example, some information transmitted to 2020 will be in encrypted form using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. We do this to make sure that your PII is not lost, harmed, lost or deleted.
Anyone at 2020 who has access to PII has been informed about the proper and lawful way such data should be handled.

You can visit most areas of 2020’s web site without disclosing any personal information. 2020 only logs the domain name, IP address and browser type of our website visitors via our web server log files and analytics tools at irregular intervals. We use this information to log global access traffic to our website. Such information is not correlated with any personal information and does not identify you.
2020 may use cookies from time to time. A Cookie is a unique text file that a Web site can send to your browser software. Cookies do not include any PII. We may use Cookies to identify the browser you are using so that our website displays properly. We also use cookies in various places on our website in order to document your visit to the 2020 website and allow for a more efficient website design. For example, to optimize the shopping cart feature used for ordering in the 2020 online store. If you do not want to allow 2020 or someone else to use Cookies, you can disable cookie installation via your browser setting or refuse the installation of cookies when prompted to this effect. While you also have the option of deleting Cookies from your computer’s hard disk at any time, if you choose to do so, you may be unable to use some of the features of our website, products and services.
For certain features we will ask that you provide 2020 certain information so that it works properly. You can decide at any time whether you would like to continue with an instruction prompting you to provide PII. In some cases, you will be unable to complete a particular step in the process if you do not want to provide the information requested.

Certain links contained on 2020 web sites may direct you to co-branded web sites maintained by 2020 or to companies which 2020 has established business relationships. When you submit information to one of these co-branded sites or partner companies, you may be submitting it to both 2020 and these business partners. Under no circumstances may 2020 be held responsible for the privacy practices of these business partners and we therefore strongly encourage you to read their respective privacy policies as they may differ from ours.

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses Cookies to make it possible to analyze your use of our website. Information generated by the Cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, before this happens, Google shortens and anonymizes your IP address (Google’s anonymizeIp process) if located within a member state of the European Union or in other contracting member states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The entire IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there only in exceptional cases. This anonymization ensures that your IP address cannot be traced back to you. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports about website activities for 2020 and provide additional services associated with web site and Internet usage. Google can transfer this information to third parties, where appropriate, if legally mandated or if Google contracts with third parties to process such data. Google will not associate your IP address with other Google data. By using our web site, you expressly consent to Google’s collection and storage of your data in the manner and for the purposes described above.
You also have the option to prevent Google from acquiring and processing data generated by Cookies and data related to your use of our website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing a Google-provided browser plugin.

We also use Pardot Knowledge Base, a web analysis service from Salesforce.com (“Pardot”). Pardot tracks visitor activities on 2020 websites by setting Cookies on your browsers. These Cookies are set in order to remember preferences (like form field values) when a visitor returns to a 2020 site. However, as explained above, you can disable Cookie installations through your browser setting or simply refuse the installation of Cookies if prompted to do so. .

You have the right to view, correct, block or delete PII 2020 stores at any time. We make a sincere effort to respond to all requests to update or correct personal information promptly. If you believe that 2020 does not have your current personal information or wish to delete PII or modify our rights in relation thereto, please communicate with us by using one of the communication channels listed below.

Note that information you send to a 2020 forum is classified as public information and is not subject to this privacy policy. When using our forums, there is a risk that others will find and use the information you submit. Be careful and handle your personal information in a responsible manner while online in a public forum.
