Board of Directors
Mark Goldstein joined 2020 in February 2013 as the Chief Executive Officer. Mark transitioned from 2020 CEO to join the board of directors in September 2017. Mr. Goldstein has over 30 years of experience in the software industry, most recently with Dassault Systèmes, a leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. He served as CEO of Abaqus Inc., a supplier of advanced engineering analysis software from 2001 until 2005. After Abaqus was acquired by Dassault Systèmes in 2005, Mark continued as CEO of its SIMULIA business unit until 2008. Over these seven years he transformed Abaqus and SIMULIA from a niche supplier at the high end of the market to a mainstream provider of simulation software with 18% compounded annual growth rates. He then served as a Dassault Systèmes Executive Vice President with responsibility for select strategic growth and business development initiatives at the Dassault Systèmes group and SIMULIA brand levels. Mark left Dassault Systèmes in March 2012 to found Managing for Growth LLC, an advisory practice focused on assisting the CEOs and executive teams of mid-market, high technology companies with their growth strategies and operating challenges.
Mark spent the first 21 years of his career at SDRC (now part of Siemens PLM), holding various strategic senior management positions. From 1997 to 2000 he was Vice President of the Products Group, with responsibility for SDRC software product business units. Between 1995 and 1997, he was Vice President of the SDRC-Ford Program Office, responsible for all facets of SDRC’s relationship with Ford Motor Company. Mark spent the early part of his career at SDRC in the technology ranks, helping SDRC transform itself from a computer-aided engineering company to a mainstream CAD/CAM and PDM company.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanics and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is also a graduate of the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute.
Rishi Chandna is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2002. Mr. Chandna focuses on investments in the broader technology sector with an emphasis on enterprise software, technology enabled services, business services, and information services. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Chandna worked in the Los Angeles office of Bain & Company. Mr. Chandna has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Bernhard Nann is an Operating Executive with Golden Gate Capital focused on the software, data analytics and information services sectors. Most recently, Mr. Nann served as Chief Executive Officer of Opera Solutions, a global provider of scalable advanced big data analytics and data science solutions. While at Opera, Mr. Nann focused its strategy and materially improved its operations and profitability. Prior to joining Opera, Mr. Nann served as President, Operations and Technology and Chief Technology Officer for IRI, a leading provider of big data, predictive analytics and forward-looking insights for consumer packaged goods, over-the-counter health care, retail and media companies, where he led a major transition to the next generation of enabling technology. Prior to IRI, Mr. Nann was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). Additionally, Mr. Nann was Founder and CEO of NAREX Inc., one of the first Software as a Service (SaaS) analytics firms, which was acquired by FICO in 2003. Earlier in his career, Mr. Nann served as Director, International Operations and Director General, Comcred S.A. at TRW Inc
